      Guide on IVF treatment cost

        Quick Inquiry

Are you going to start your fertility treatment?

Has your doctor informed you all about the different steps?

No doubt, hearing about the way treatment is done, and several steps that are involved in the same can make your mind boggle. Now, as your treatment proceeds further at the IVF Centre in Punjab, there’s one essential step, and that is embryo implant. In medical terms, the process of performing implantation into the reproductive tract is termed assisted hatching.

My main aim is to inform you all about IVF and all the necessary steps included in it. So, whether you want to discuss the Test tube baby cost or about a particular step, always discuss the same with the fertility doctor.

Assisted hatching: An important step in the IVF cycle

At times, there are few infertility cases where the cycle does not even reach the stage of ART. Even after trying multiple times, there’s a failure. This is where assisted hatching makes the all-important treatment option to make the chances of conception better for the couple. Just like medical advancement has given the boon of IVF, similarly assisted hatching is the same approach for everyone out there. The major cause of failure is thicker zone cell impairing, and to counter the same better measures are now taken. So, in the case of an assisted hatched embryo, the implantation is done a day early to make it seem to have better chances of conception.

What are the major types of assisted hatching?

There are four major types of assisted hatching, and depending on whatever condition suits you the best, the fertility doctor will suggest the same.

        • Mechanical assisted hatching

Mechanical assisted hatching is also known by the name of partial zona dissection. In this case, embryo placement is done at the desired position by doing gentle suctioning. The doctor inserts a microneedle and then allows it to all target the specific line. The necessary slit is created in a cross-shaped manner, and then embryo release occurs.

        • Acid Tyrode Assisted Hatching

In the case of embryo zona, there’s a defect that is created through mouth control acid, and it’s present on the external surface. Under this scenario, the embryo is rinsed so that any excess acid present is wiped off, and then further transfer is done.

        • Laser Hatching

Under this approach, zona is pierced through non-contact mode where everything is controlled through technology i.e. computer. All thanks to medical advancement, the laser hatching is well-done through a technique where necessary focus and measurement are effectively checked to ensure the embryo placement is correct. The laser intensity is kept depending on the given scenario: Low, medium, and high.

        • Propose thinning of zona pellucida

Basically, there’s a use of a specific solution in which embryo transfer is done.
